About Brides, Bubbles, and Bliss
Brides, Bubbles, and Bliss (“BBB”) is an online blogazine that features the high fashion, bridal and lifestyle inspiration. BBB first launched as an annual bridal event in 2009 and has grown to be the Midwest’s not-to-miss bridal event of the year, a beautifully curated production providing endless informative inspiration for brides, grooms, and industry insiders. With producers and Carasco Photography owners, Cara and Scott Nava, pulling the delicate strings of this soiree, it continues to be one of the chicest events Chicago sees all year. Each year, the production offers an exclusive runway show with a renowned bridal designer, couture dress and custom suit samplings, amid an array of modern catering and décor ideas.
There are many layers to the production of a truly magical, one of a kind wedding day celebration, and knowing where to begin is the philosophy behind the inception of Brides, Bubbles, and Bliss. As an extension of this annual bridal outlet, Cara and Scott have tapped into the notion of producing year round bridal advice. These original videos, which fall under the guise of BBB TV, are released twice a month (debuting in December 2012), offering brides-to- be and the wedding-curious exclusive tips and tricks from some of the industry’s leading professionals.
Today’s weddings are all about dazzling with the details and Brides, Bubbles, and Bliss alongside the year round bridal guidance of BBB TV are among the most inspirational outlets for the newly engaged.

Favorite Past Times: Yoga, running, biking, traveling, swimming, spin class, online shopping,
going to the beach, gardening..well…tending my flower boxes and herb pots on my city
balcony! cooking, taking my dog to the park and going to the farmer’s market with my best
friend and husband.
If you had a month to vacation anywhere in the world, where would go? There are so many
places on my list. But I absolutely love the Mediterranean. There are so many countries you
can see in a month – and so many different cultures and cuisines! I would tour the coastal
cities of Spain, France, Italy/Sardinia/Corsica, Croatia, Greece and Turkey.
If you could party like a rock star with any celebrity (dead or alive) who would it be?
Definitely Kristen Wiig!! She’s hilarious, I wish I could be her best friend! I also think Gwen
Stefani is so cool – I think partying with both those ladies would make for a pretty incredible
night!
What icon would leave you starstruck if you met them? Are you kidding? definitely Sting
What’s on your iPod? Tons of 80′s music! I like electronic and ambient music, Way Out West,
Blue Six, Air, Washed Out. But I also love my girls, Imogen, Florence, Ellie and Elly (La Roux)
Anything else you’d like BBB viewers to know about you? I Love to karaoke!!

She was born and raised in Florida and went to school at Florida State, and although she loves her southern roots, she feels completely at home in Chicago. After completing her internship at The Everygirl, she joined BBB to explore her passion for the bridal realm. If you had a month to vacation anywhere in the world, where would go? Island hopping through Greece – beautiful water, sun, and amazing food/ wine. Sold.

What icon would leave you starstruck if you met them? Beyonce! She’s fabulous.
What’s on your iPod? Anything and everything- Fleetwood Mac, Beyonce, The Roots, Dixie Chicks, Adele, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons… I pretty much listen to it all!
Anything else you’d like BBB viewers to know about you? I’m a huge foodie and I love to cook! I have a not-so-secret love for sequins, chapstick, cheese (in any form), trashy TV, nail polish, and yummy cocktails. Make me laugh and you’re OK in my book!

Definitely Rihanna. She looks like she knows how to get the party started, and keep it going. It would totally be memorable!
What Icon would leave you star struck if they were in your chair for styling?
Is Beyonce considered an Icon? I would LOVE the opportunity to work with her. Her style is so is classy, yet she’s not afraid to go edgy, or bold. The possibilities to be creative, while still keeping it pretty are endless.
What’s in your ipod? I love old school hip hop, and everything from Jay Z. Also I’m a huge Erykah Badu fan.

Favorite Past Time: After a long day of making people pretty, I love nothing more than dining at a new restaurant with my beau or a group of girlfriends. Of course a little retail therapy is always a great past time as well.
If you had a month to vacation anywhere in the world, where would go? Definitely Europe – I would love to pack a backpack (which would be hard because I use way too many beauty products). I’d spend time in Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris, and England soaking up the culture, music, historic landmarks, and food.
If you could party like a rock star with any celebrity (dead or alive) who would it be? Mick Jagger! 30 years ago….he’s the ultimate party animal!
What icon would leave you starstruck if they were in your chair for styling? I would be starstruck if Michelle Obama sat down in my chair. She’s beautiful, smart, classic, but edgy and truly embodies a modern woman.
What’s on your iPod? What’s NOT on my ipod is the question! I love to listen to high energy music while styling a photo-shoot, but also love to jam out to jazz, the blues, old time country, indie music, world music and everything in between.
